Will a hibiscus plant grow if you bury it underneath W-2 forms in the basement?

my wife thinks it will but I think it needs more salt to grow

No! Don't ever, ever bury hibiscus under W-2s! Hibiscus are very narcissistic. Anything red will make them green with envy -- even red tape. Tax forms are a sure way to kill hibiscus!
Reply:I'm thinking it will prosper more greatly under the 10-40 long form. Give it a shot and let us know what you find out.
Reply:The "Rose of Sharon" is a type of hibiscus and will thrive under almost any condition
Reply:NO DONT THINK SO
Reply:Your wife is correct. Women are usually correct and I think it is bad form for you to question her in this medium.

Please don't let your ego be upset by her correctness. Men need a strong woman to support and love their husband and woman need to be correct. So everyone wins here.
Reply:If you're a betting man, I wouldn't put my money on that...although I may put a few Gs on the chance that the plant does your taxes.
Reply:No better than if you bury the plant under newspaper or maybe a good noval with the pages removed...Gives the plant something to read as it grows. make sure there is light though to read by.

Good luck and have fun!
Reply:Chances aren't good.... but good luck with that.
Reply:No it wont, for the simple fact that it needs direct sunlight. Try planting is a pot, and put it near a window. The window will absorb heat, and create a green house for your hibiscus.
