Hibiscus can tolerate shade for part of the day, but needs direct sunlight to bloom best.
Does a 10" Hibiscus braid need direct sunlight, it is still in a pot?
It can take direct sunlight but do not move it outdoors yet until you have your last frost,,,,these trees are not cold natured....other words do not like the cold.
