Why are the leaves and buds turning yellow and falling off my hibiscus tree?

I have it in a pot with plenty of room, sun and I water it daily. The buds get to the point they look like they are about to bloom and then they fall off. Some of the leaves are also turning yellow and falling..others are staying green and healthy. I have a ton of buds on the tree..just are not coming to a full bloom. Can anyone help me??

you may be watering it too much... yellow leaves are a sign of root rot, or too much water. If the leaves turn brown u are not watering enough. don't water it unless it is dry. They do like moisture, but not too much. Put it outside in the sun during the day to dry it out, and then fertilize, not while it's in the sun, and leave it alone for a couple days. Talk to it lol
Reply:Too much water, its has root rot. I've lost several over the years, still cannot get it right.
Reply:Honestly, it sounds like it may be getting overwatered. If the leaves are yellowing, not just drying up, you might be giving the lil thing a bit too much love :)
